Bóra has been designed and produced by GoodWaste using waste Corian reclaimed from London manufacturers. Corian is a hygienic, non-porous and non-toxic material developed and manufactured by DuPont, widely used for benchtops and claddings in hospitals, restaurants and houses.
The vase celebrates the material’s plasticity through its organic form. The convergence of linear grooves and gentle sinuosities allows the inanimate matter to come alive, representing the revival of the material from the skip.
Due the nature of the material and making process, each vase is unique and will vary slightly from the images shown.

GoodWaste is a London-based design collective established in 2019 by Ambra Dentella, Ewan Alston and Rafael El Baz after the trio met at the Royal College of Art.
GoodWaste transforms so-called ‘waste’ materials into interiors and objects through design.
We intercept and divert industrial waste from landfill, integrating strict circular economy principles. We believe in social sustainability as much as environmental so we balance our commercial output with social impact initiatives that bring local communities into the design and making process.
